Golden
Swan Beach Resort is located on
Murud Beach at 150 kms
South of Mumbai
(Maharashtra, India).
Golden Swan is the erstwhile
MTDC Resort which is now privately run and
is one of the best beach resorts around
Mumbai
and is located right on the beach.
Biggest attraction besides the beach is
the Janjira Fort that is across the sea
accessible by boat/ferry.
Murud has a long stretch
of beach which is very shallow and safe
for swimming.
It is generally very pleasant throughout
the year with cool breeze blowing all day
long. The temperature generally does not
exceed 32 degree Celsius.

Janjira offers a lot more than
just clean and quiet beaches. It is accessible
by Road or by boat/ferries. The route one
normally takes is Panvel-Alibaug-Revdanda-Murud
however there is a road connecting murud
from Roha also for Visitors from Pune.

of Rooms viz. AC Room, Cottages and Beach
