The experience was good overall. No major issues. The resort is located in a beautiful location. The service is generally prompt without any major hassles. The a la carte` meal was a major disappointment though and not worth the money. And when we didn't pay the tip because of our experience, we heard one of the staffers mutter something behind our back. I believe we should pay TIP only when the service/food is good. It wasn't and what we saw wasn't good. The breakfast, which was a part of our plan, was a very good one with a menu covering many items. Very sumptuous. Would surely want to visit again.

MY Experience with Resort Mystic Valley 14-16 /8/11 was not that great. 1. I Got the room at 1.30 where my check in was 12.00. We were there by 11.15. 2. Though the rooms are good, neat and luxorious the improvement need to be made on the quality of staff. - Food quality was Ok. - Room service for pathetic. It tales 66 min for delivering a Hot Mil Cup for my Kid ordered. - Dining Staff are not courteous. I feel with such a good resort the quality of people for handling larger crowd and being customer friendly is much required.

Our trip was pleasent but the hotel service was not up to the mark Hot water was not available in the washroom when it informed to reception they told that they don\'t have the facility in the room but it will they will send somebody to get it to the room. After repeatdly calling the room service we got the hot water after waiting 5 hours where our plan to go out was spoiled due to the ineffeciency of the staff there Also there was no water to drink for 3 days for which we had to get it from out side After taking a deluxe room also if these facilities are not provided to the guest then it better you not to sell the packages for the Bright lands resort.

Its a nice place to stay, with two pools which have wildlife in them (read crawling crabs). It was lovely to share the pool with them. The rooms are huge and have an old time feel to them...lots of wood which is rare to find in most hotels now. Unfortunately the place says 'No Alcohol' in bold, but I guess its not a deterrent for anyone. Go ahead and enjoy the drinks :) The hotel is far far far from the beach, which is a complete let down. If you do not have your own vehicle don't even think about a stay here, it would be impossible to even find drinking water within walking distance. It was a convenient experience to book the ticket as well, just transferring money to the given account number from HDFC Bank!

Our stay at Manas Lifestyle was very refreshing. Overall I would rate 3.5 on a scale of 5. Up side Right from booking to checkout, everything was handled very professionally. Property has many things to offer, which are sufficient enough to keep kids engaged for couple of days. Down side: The quality of facilities needs a relook, e.g., the swimming pool was not clean & was smelling of algae & moss The SPA massage rooms need much attention to make them give a plesant feeling. Having no non-veg items in buffet menu (for all meals including breakfast) is a disappointment. Existing buffet menu items for breakfast needs an improvement. I can visit again, provided the points mentioned under Down side are taken care of.

Our visit to Karnala – K Star Woods resort was good. The restaurant was good though the lunch and dinner menu’s were kind of repeated and similar. Very few Gym apparatus were available and most not functioning, No person available for massage, Jacuzee tub doesn’t have all vents open (not good experience at all), Swimming pool is there but not maintained at all (there’s fungus all along the pool and its very slippery to even walk in the pool). Room was good but there’s no facility of changing sheets, towels etc if people stay for more than 1 day, no morning tea served as is common in many hotels. Hotel Staff was okay, not very cooperative, reception staff was very good though. Overall I would say Hotel rates are extremely overpriced as compared to the amenities available. I would not recommend people to choose this Resort for a vacation spot.

I think overall experience was really good. Dealing with Travel Hungama was not a big hassle. Pinewood resort is a nice place cleanliness, services & food were as expected and basic sports infrastucture was also in place what was our expectations. My experience with Travelhungama has been brilliant. I recollect calling them very late on Sat evening and the young lady said it was too late until i mentioned i was looking for something as early as next day morning (i.e. Sun). I was not only recommended options to stay but also advised of my travel and preferred place to stay. We booked ourselves in lonavala and its a wonderful family location. Its a simple place owned by this couple - the lady is tough however equally warm and welcoming. We were made very comfortable. Our executive rooms weren't available when we reached there however we were offered deluxe rooms and a class apart service. The food was brialliant - all personalised to our order as post 4pm there was no one in the resort but our gang. OVERALL VALUE FOR MONEY & GOOD STAY.

My wife & me visited Prakruti farms for the weekend. The tents were great to stay in, was a very different experience. The pool was neat & clean with a great view of the hills. The service was average with most of the staff not knowing what to say or reply. The tents need to be a little more cleaner since we saw black stains on the tents. The resort should look at improving its landscaping since i would say the pictures on your website are slightly misleading. Should beautify the area even more. Room service is not too great becasue the tea pot which was kept otuside our tent stayed there till we checked out. The resort has a great potential if slight makeovers are done. The manager was very courteous & helpful. Even though there were small knick knacks here & there, my wife & me loved the place & are surely going to recommend it to all our friends. For Hotel Woodlands - Matheran Me & my husband wanted some break from routine hectic life last year and were considering various places for 2Nights stay. This hotel was suggested by Mr. Vijay and turned out to be the perfect place for us. Hotel Woodlands offer great service along with resort kind of ambiance. We enjoyed playing Badminton and carom there. Food was too tasty. Only problem we faced was coming from site-seeing in the evening. We just returned from our weekend break at Sand Top Resort. All of us had a great time there, especially kids who enjoyed the swimming pool and the slide in it. Very homely food as well. Barring a night blast with DJ on Saturday night, everything else was just great. The music started at 11:30pm in the night which disturbed everyone and spoiled their sleep. I have mentioned this also to the resident manager there. Otherwise it’s a great place to relax, very courteous staff as well and we certainly look forward to visiting once again when we get some time.

Hey jus like to add my experience with Travelhungama..it was great...i find the website very user friendly n also quite easy...this was the first time i was booking thru an online agent ...however they suggested me a great tented accomodation in kihim...had a very different kind of an exp since its always resorts n hotels we had visited earlier... Infact i was quite amazed on how one of the person from the company followed up with me for the payments and vouchers! They even provided me with the resort nos. and address in the voucher which made it easier for me.. and how amazing they even guided with a road map.. I was quite hesitant when i read some of the reviews on mouthshut but since it was a last minute booking i just thought of calling and checking. The kind of response i got from them was amazing... i think they are simple to deal with.. id def speak to them for my next weekend travel .. I recently visited sunset resort jawhar, which was been recommended by Travel Hungama people and tust me, we had best of our family holiday and we never had problems while booking, nor while payments weredone neither in getting any vouchers from them. (this is to bring light to regular mouthshut readers as I just happen to see some bad comments which I would not beleive) I would request freinds who post their reviews on this not to trust just 01 word but to experience the service with Travel Hungama and then post their reviews too. As far as our bookigs were concerned, we were 07 adults and 01 child of 05 yrs. Food was served to us on ala-carte menu where in we had lopsters, tiger prawns, fish fry, chicken mongolian, and best of indian paneer dishes. It was surprising to have Bornvita too available at the resort for our child’s mornign breakfast which was very impressive. Plz note all this was done, not becoz we were part of the resort, but we were guest booked by Travel Hungama - quoted by resort owner. I have liked their servies and also selection of places what they recommend. We would request people to visit their website www.travelhungama.com as they have very good options for weekend destination in and around Mumbai. We would from now on only book our weekends with Travel Hungama. We wish best of luck to Travel Hungama and his team for great success ahead.
